About Pondoro
Pondoro is a Pomodoro-style focus timer for iPhone that turns every finished session into a growing aquarium, for students, deep workers and anyone whose hardest step is starting.
What Pondoro does
You pick a session length and name what you are focusing on. The timer is timestamp-anchored, so locking your phone or leaving the app does not pause the clock, and a Live Activity keeps the session on your Lock Screen. Finish the block and Pondoro banks coins, XP and companion care from that real focus time: fish hatch, water clarity climbs and the reef grows. Deep Focus can block the apps that pull you away, only while a session runs, using Apple's Screen Time. New to the method? Start with the Pomodoro timer guide.
What makes Pondoro different
- Rewards come from finishing. The reef only grows when you complete the block, and coins and XP are granted from real focus, never from your wallet. No ads, no coin packs and no pay-to-win.
- No account required. Focus sessions, your aquarium, fish and rewards all work as a guest on your device. Signing in with Apple, Google or email is optional.
- No shame loop. Miss a day and nothing punishes you. Care stays recoverable, and the reef just waits for your next session.
- Native and offline-first. Pondoro is built in SwiftUI for iOS 17 and later, and it works without a connection.
Who uses Pondoro
- Students building study habits across a semester, with streaks and hours they can see.
- People who need protected deep-work windows, with Deep Focus and a Live Activity.
- Anyone whose hardest step is starting, including on ADHD-friendly focus days, with short, startable sessions and immediate, visible rewards.
Who makes Pondoro
Pondoro is built by Lightnivia, and it was shaped by TestFlight beta testers. It is on the App Store for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. For help, use the support page.
